Because of this, I&#8217;ve always had some sort of paper in my pockets; notebooks, origami paper, things with texture, something to write on, draw on or fold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I studied art between &#8217;92 and &#8217;98, eventually going more toward user interface design and function, I&#8217;ve been self-employed as a computer programmer since then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love sewing, quilting runs in my family, I still have a lot of my grandma&#8217;s cutting templates, designs and some of her wonderful Liberty fabrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first time I tried making notebooks was in the early &#8217;90s when having a particularly bad flare-up of my arthritis forced me to take up more sitting down activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The past few years for me have been more about origami, but since shielding for Covid19 I decided to give bookbinding another go.
